Ruth is excellent! She provides the best care for my client/friend, Tina Chestnut. It’s noticeable when Ruth is not on duty; she is quick to respond, offers assistance without being asked. She responds quickly, and is respectful! Her care should not go unnoticed! Ok pop Thank you!

When you’re walking into the facility, it’s very clean. The nurses are very nice and they treat my aunt Very nice. She’s been here for a very long time and it’s like a five star hotel.

This place a total and utter disgrace! Do Not send your loved ones there!!! Keep them home and get home care!! This place acts much more like hospice than rehabilitation. Their disgusting neglect of the patients there cause early death more often than actual rehabilitation. They have no shame because they have no hearts. Money, Money, Money is all they care about! Make sure to draft up clear legal terms before and if you ever have to use this “the shining” center as a last resort. And if you do be sure to stay with your loved one 24/7, and document EVERYTHING!!!!

I had an awful experience as a recent rehab patient. I was intimidated, bullied and warned that I would be "reported." Turns out that having to use the bathroom frequently because I was on potent diuretics is not okay! The GNA who intimidated me did not know what a diuretic is. The nurse confirmed giving me the diuretic as ordered by the doctor and explained to the GNA what a diuretic is. Huh?! No surprise; most GNAs do not speak English very well. Evening nurses were mostly officious and disrespectful. The major responsibility of GNAs is to diaper, and change diapers while wearing scary aprons. And if you are not incontinent it's a problem. My brother was here for rehabilitation after recovery from pneumonia and then COVID. He was there from August 2025 to October 2025. I was there everyday, as his caregiver and POA, and not once did anyone offer to show me around the place, introduce the staff on his level. They don't have nearly enough skilled CNA's and Nurses for the number of patients they have. The furniture was old, room smelled, my brother was not ble to walk well and took several falls, because they didn't check him enough through out the day. Plus he suffers from traumatic brain injury so he needed better supervision.
