Montefiore Medical Group Urgent Care

Watch out if you need an X-ray. Radiology is in the same waiting area as urgent care. Montifiore likes to mash up the sick with the healthy. You know, to get them all back there for another reason.

Absolutely disgraceful experience. We came to this urgent care facility in a real emergency, and instead of receiving compassion and immediate attention, we were met with visible irritation from the staff simply because we didn’t have insurance. They made it clear we weren’t welcome. Despite the urgency of the situation and an ambulance being called, they did nothing while we waited. No basic assistance, not even an attempt to monitor or stabilize the situation. We were just left in a patient room, ignored and anxious, while help was on the way. The lack of care and basic human decency was shocking. This place clearly prioritizes profit over people. I would not recommend it to anyone—especially if you’re uninsured or expect even the bare minimum level of compassion in a medical emergency

The staff was so professional and friendly. I’m impressed with how efficiently they cycled through all the people coming in for COVID tests. If you need some quick medical care then this place is a great option.

I recently came in for a cyst drainage and I couldn’t be more thankful and appreciative to NP Rodriguez and her team for how comfortable they made me feel. Awfull service. I requested a urgent care service with a traveler insurance (covers medical expenses in the US) and even ofered to pay in cash for the visit, and they refused to see me.
