Montecito Heights Healthcare & Wellness Center

The facility is modest looking but clean and well run. I was pleased with their attentive and caring staff providing excellent services to my dad who is 95. From physical therapist to Kaiser doctor and nurse on premises to social worker and their own nurses, everybody deserves A+ in my book.

My 98 year old mother was sent to Montecito after 2 weeks in ICU and trauma care. The facility was recommended by the hospital and by people in the healthcare profession who I respect. I am grateful for this recommendation and our experience proved it true. I visited almost every day through a 20 day stay and found the staff to be engaged, professional and diligent. From Kai and Helen as administrators to nursing staff, Ana Perez, Ana Salazar, Desiree, Krystal, Lily and Josie, to Kenneth and Lindy as chef and nutrition coordinator, as well as Hennessie and Jordan in reception who always greeted with a smile and who were on top of everything. Anthony Garcia as activities coordinator is so patient and full of grace. Victor in PT is amazing and got my mother up and around which I did not thin

My father was transferred to Montecito to recover from a stroke. At first we were hesitant of bringing him here reading some reviews had us worried. We are glad my father was sent here this place is great. Staff, Therapist, Nurses, CNAs, housekeeping EVERYONE was nice and looked out for my father’s needs. Place is clean. Therapist really focus on every patients different needs. They also helped me on what workouts would be good to help my father. I would defiantly trust this place again with my loved ones. Although this place is awesome hope we don’t have to come back soon. Thank you Montecito and everyone that works there!!!

My mother was admitted and they have been treating her very well. The staff is nice and friendly and more knowledgeable than the staff at Kaiser. She has a wound that wasn’t being treated properly at Kaiser and is now receiving the appropriate treatment. If I had to complain about something I would say it can take some time for the nurse to arrive when called. But they are busy and it’s understandable and when they do arrive they provide great friendly service. I would recommend this place.

The staff are readily available and prompt in meeting requests from patients and families I have met and had time to talk with my mom’s Dr., her case manager, the dietician, the OT, the PT, her nurse, director of nursing,, speech therapist the floor nurse and the receptionist even walked me outside to show me where to park. It is never fun to be in rehab but it is much easier when you are feeling cared for and heard It’s the people that make the differences
