Dr. Ted Friedman of Montclair Vision Services had been my optometrist for many years and I’ve just returned to him after a space of almost two decades. Dr. Friedman is a superlatively gifted, knowledgeable and patient practitioner, and based on my experience gives a far more thorough examination than is the case in more large scale, commercialized eyeglass and contact lens dispensaries. He has an excellent selection of frames, and his fees are more than reasonable. He will certainly continue to provide vision/eye care for me, and I unhesitatingly recommend him.

Dr Friedman has been my eye doctor for over 15 years. He is professional, trustworthy and friendly. I refer all my family members and friends. Wouldn't think of going elsewhere for exams and advice.

Just got off the phone with Dr. Friedman... originally called the office to get an appointment because I've had on/off eye issues for 8 months and just moved to the area. Needed a more concrete opinion. Rather than the front desk scheduling me for an appointment, within 2 minutes they put Dr. Friedman on the phone who gave me 10 minutes of free advice, eventually telling me I would be better off in the hands of one of his colleagues should I need a bigger procedure done (which it sounds like I might). Class act. I've been in the healthcare field for a while and I've noticed far too many providers just looking to collect co-pays rather than providing you with what will truly help you in the end. So grateful for his free advice.
