Montclair Care Center

I was very nervous when I learnt my mom needed rehab and had to go to a care center as I’m sure everyone’s heard horror stories but I am SO grateful for Gates Manor. The women who work here are absolutely wonderful and kind. Unfortunately my mom’s stay turned into palliative care but she was always clean, repositioned, and generally kept comfortable. The nurses and staff were so loving and supportive to me as well. When they called at 2am to tell me she passed I was able to go say goodbye right then. I received hugs and sincere condolences from everyone I came across. It’s really really hard to lose your mom, especially as a young girl and I can’t thank everyone enough for making things easy where they could.

Physical therapy is a 5 star day,Kurt and Jay is excellent did wonder with getting to walk again 😀 they need a increase in their pay..Tijuana the nice and beautiful nurse assistant. On 3rd shift, Ronda Angela,and nurse Carol and supervisor Dion are ,awesome had taken good care of ,me while I'm here at the center. Great nurse and aide they make monclair care center a5 star because of they hard work and Vanessa also awesome recreation ran by Betty she make it fun for being here knock knock also desire a increase in her pay .I love the entertainment that she sets up . The staff was nice enough but some aides would disappear and you weren’t able to get the help you needed unless you press the button for the nurse. My room could use some beautification like the Lobby. It’s deceiving when you enter the hall where the rooms are from the Lobby. My room needed cleaning or painting because it looked as if someone had spilled coffee or it was rusting around the radiator. I don’t know who puts the menu together but there were some days I didn’t eat you had to rely on DoorDash or family to bring you something to eat. If the food was more appealing I think it would encourage patients to eat and in turn get better.

My parents have been in the Montclair Care Center for sometime now and the staff have been Wonderful and Caring to the both of them. Even though majority of the staff are great there are a few that go above and beyond to make sure my parents feel welcomed and not a burden, Nurse Rhonda, Nurse Katie, Nurse Wilameena and Nurse Divonn, also the Aides are Brenda, Angel and Gloria. My family and I are Truly Grateful and Thankful for the Amazing Care at The Montclair Care Center.

I am beyond thankful for this place! They took such great care of my Grandma. She was only there a few weeks after a fall but it was a memorable stay. The head of nursing Glory was great and jumps to action for everything, and working with Pamela to transfer her was so easy and stress free. This was genuinely one of the best experiences that my grandma has had as well and I just wanted to express my gratitude for how well the company cared for her! Thank you again to the team and staff for making it easy on her and me, they ensured that she would be taken care of and the speedy recovery spoke for that.
