Monroe Health and Rehabilitation Center

I have spent the last couple of weeks at Monroe Health and Rehab and this is a wonderful facility. The employees are warm and welcoming. Their teamwork is impeccable. The residents are happy well cared for and the staff members treat them as if they are they are family. The director of nursing and the nursing leadership team is top tier.

My sister has been at Monroe Health and Rehab for two years now. ALL the staff are friendly, professional, and caring. They go the extra mile to care for my sister. Special shout out to Tabatha on the second floor. The facility is always spotless. As a nurse I can say I have high praise for the care provided at Monroe Health and Rehab.

Monroe was a very positive experience for my family when my 82 year old mother was there recently for rehabilitation after emergency colon surgery. My mom had many wounds and a challenging ostomy and much swelling, and the staff took amazing care of her. My mom has never been a fan of being in a rehab facility and can be a challenge, but after about a week of panicking, she really became very comfortable there and fell in love with all of her nurses and therapists and administrators and doctor, etc. Although we actually would love for her to have stayed longer if insurance hadn’t kicked her out, we really appreciate the expert care that she received.
