Avoid Krant at all costs. At first he may seem knowledgable, intelligent and helpful. After a few months of dealing with him, this was ultimately not my experience. Appointments feel rushed, he has little to no interest in listening to concerns/ symptoms. He repeatedly made errors in my chart. Refusing to make corrections when the errors were pointed out. I came to the conclusion that the only safe appointment with this doctor is if it is fully recorded. He prescribed me a medication and when I had severe systemic side effects, he actively avoided them and ignored it. It's sad that this is the only rheumatologist practicing in this department at this time. Monadnock and the Peterborough area deserve better. I would urge anyone with a more complicated diagnosis to avoid this office and this doctor. Especially if you are a woman. His knowledge is stuck in the 80’s and if you aren’t presenting “normally” then he has no idea how to help you. Because of Dr. Krants lack of quality clinical care, my health has been set back at least 1 year because of what he failed to do when I was first diagnosed. Want a MRI? Good luck! The office staff and nursing is also highly questionable, with zero follow through. Ladies with complicated rheumatic diseases…. please save your time and sanity and go elsewhere.

I had my first consultation with Dr. Krant and his medical team yesterday. His medical associates were friendly and well informed. The doctor was very personable and knowledgeable. He explained my RA diagnosis, prognosis and upcoming care treatment in a way that was I was totally able to understand. I left the appointment feeling very confident in my medical team and the success of my treatment.

I saw Dr Krant for the first time last week very ill and hopeless after losing health insurance and being unable to see my past rheumatologist. I never thought I’d say it but I’m happy I lost my old provider. I have never felt so heard, seen and reassured. He has the best bed side manor I’ve ever experienced with a doctor. I can tell he’s extremely intelligent and his goal is to get his patients to live the most successful and comfortable life they can. I am starting my infusions again and I cannot wait to continue this journey managing my SLE Lupus with Dr Krant.
