Monadnock Community Hospital

8/7/2025 I had an excellent experience here this morning when I had to go into the emergency room for gut pain. Excellent staff across the board: From the admitting nurse to the young man who gave me my CT scan. Doctor Lansky was superb. I had a number of tests including blood and urine, As well as the aforementioned scan, and an IV, and was in and out of the emergency facility in less than three hours… Very happy with the quality and level of service from this hospital. Thank you. 🙏

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one after our experience in the ER last night. We’ve had several good experiences over the years with our children in the ER and only one rather long wait time. In addition, we see peds at MCH and love them! My 4 year old son broke his arm early on Sunday evening. The check in was quick and, despite having to wait a bit, when I advocated that he be triaged sooner rather than later because of the severity of the break and the pain he was in, we got back relatively quickly. Everyone was friendly and attentive throughout the whole experience. They were so calm with our son and it helped his whole experience. Had to make an unexpected trip to the ER last night with my 6 y/o, and while going to the ER is never easy, our experience was worth writing a review for! Dr. Wysocki-broadwater was incredible.. attentive, personable, thorough and most importantly, super reassuring to my kiddo. In my book, if a doctor can explain something clearly to a child and match the parent’s level of understanding without missing a beat, that’s a sign of real competence! A special thank you/ shout out to Nurse Doreen for being such a calm, kind presence and for thinking of the small comforts. I’ve been to this hospital a few times via ambulance trip due to allergic reactions and both night shift & day shift did a good job. However, after getting mixed test results, my allergy doctor recommended a food challenge for peanuts/ peanut butter and she said that going to the ER to eat PB was an option. I called MCH to ask them if it was ok before I showed up and the person on the phone was incredibly rude. He said “that is highly inappropriate” in the most condescending way and then hung up on me. I understand if they’re too busy or whatever, but they don’t need to speak to people like that. Definitely changed my perspective on this department.

Had to go in for 'regular maintenance ' day surgery for 50+'ers. First experience with this hospital. The staff was absolutely amazing. The nursing staff was wonderful. Doctors we're kind and efficient. Very happy this is my hospital now. Thanks for making it easy. 🙂. The staff that sees my initials will remember me.
