I wish I'd read the reviews before my procedure. Dr. Amadpour's staff is horrible - they blew 3 veins just trying to get an IV in and they were rude the entire time. The doctor? I have no idea. He didn't come into the room until after they knocked me out, so I literally don't know if he was even the one working on me. After it was over, I was in pain and went home bleeding. The staff showed no sympathy and offered no help.

The office Manager is a narcissist who has no accountability for her mess ups. I have been in severe pain for months and have needed care and have yet to recover it because of her continued carelessness. Please please find another office, so many offices that care about you as a human being. After she messed up, I’m trying to give them a chance and come into the office at an inconvenient time for me with 5 children and she tells me to get out of the office on the phone call I’m trying to arrange pick ups and care for my kids so I can redo this appointment she messed up on. My PCP referred me here and she even said with the feedback she’s going to stop referring her as I’m not the only one coming back to her with the same problem. This is awful and I’m not upset, I’m so livid angry!

I’ve been a patient for a long time but today I got sick of all their nonsense. This doc is over scheduled, has ever changing hours when it’s convenient for them. I am in the middle of an illness and was advised I should see another doctor. So that I will do. The staff has little to no health experience and lacks empathy. Rude and disrespectful

I know this is one of the only Medi-Cal approved GI doctors in Simi Valley, but if you can go anywhere else, definitely do so. I’ve been a patient here for almost 10 years. While I’ve had issues here & there over the years, nothing compares to the lack of patient care in the past 2 years. I gave plenty of time for the office to adjust to staffing transitions, but it’s now dangerously bad. I don’t know that Dr. Amadpour is even aware of what the staff is doing in ignoring & pushing away patients. After 10 years as my GI doctor & dealing with very complicated GI issues, as 1 of the doctor’s “miracle” patients it’s alarming how poorly they are treating patients. It’s dangerous.

Very hard to reach the office, their lunch is 2 hours and even if you call when the office is open no one never answers. Only way is to leave a voicemail… they will get back to you then. I had a procedure done under Dr. Amadpour care and he left before i was fully conscious and i never received a call from the office or follow up from the doctor. I don’t know if they are so overworked and busy but i would not go back there.
