Dr Dearing and his staff are unlike any other dr’s office I’ve ever been to. Dr Dearing answered all of my questions in an unhurried, professional manner. I felt like I had known him for a long time. You can tell he enjoys his occupation. The entire staff helped me pick out frames once they realized I truly wanted their input. They checked & double checked measurements & again, answered my questions. I actually had FUN at their office, sounds strange I know. I can’t wait to get my glasses and will never dread going to this office. I left there smiling & would describe the experience like it used to be years ago- that small town, warm country feel. I wasn’t even home yet & had already recommended Dr Dearing to a couple friends. The drive to Alturas from Lakeview was well worth it.

I went in with a vision disruption to make an appointment. Instead, they fit me in right then. Every staff member was competent, efficient, and gracious in every way.

This is the second time I've posted a 5-star review for Dr. Dearing and his staff, however I had to erase the previous review in order to post a new one. Weird. Anyway, I had my third appointment with Dr. Dearing today in a two-month period. Though he's young enough to be one of my kids, he really cares about his patients. I enjoy the few minutes I get to chat with him about hunting, and all the while he is upbeat and positive and cheerful. His staff is also cheerful and it allows me to joke with them because I love to joke with people. As I said in my previous review, Dr. Dearing is a good dude.
