⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot say enough wonderful things about Modern Dermatology and the entire team. Dr. Marc Beuttler, MD was my dermatologist when I was first diagnosed with lupus after moving to America from Canada. From day one, he truly listened to me and validated every concern I had. That level of care meant everything during such a scary and overwhelming time. I’ve recommended him to countless friends and family members over the years. He is absolutely worth the wait — so much so that I always ask to be waitlisted when he’s booking far out. He is incredibly kind, gentle, and compassionate, which is especially important for someone like me who struggles with white coat anxiety. Wow, the reviews are definitely a WOW factor! I was considering switching to Modern Dermatology since my dermatologist is part of Yale and I live closer to Modern, but after reading the reviews, I’ve decided against it. I really like my Yale doctor, he’s amazing, and even though I have to drive 40 minutes to New Haven, I think it's worth considering these reviews. I’m also not comfortable letting you keep my credit card on file. Modern Dermatology is only 10 minutes away, but quality of care, bedside manners of the doctor and the rudeness of the staff, I refuse to tolerate. So 95 north I will continue to do.

I cannot recommend Dr. Shayan Cheraghlou enough! I almost broke into tears in his office because he was the first dermatologist to actually make me feel seen and to sympathize with the severity of my eczema. Other doctors continued to right prescriptions for cream after cream, none of which worked. Dr. Cheraghlou was the first dermatologist to give me a thorough exam and to do a biopsy. I finally have some faith that we can figure out a treatment that works!

I was a patient at Modern Dermatology in Westport for over 3 years. A brown spot on my cheek was repeatedly dismissed as acne, and filler was even added to it --which another doctor later said should never have been done. When I switched offices, a biopsy immediately revealed invasive basal cell carcinoma. I required Mohs surgery, leaving a 5-inch scar down the middle of my cheek. Despite multiple calls and emails, Modern Dermatology sent a auto response and did not send medical records requested. This office feels more cosmetic than medical -- not where you want to go for serious dermatology issues.

My entire family has been with Modern Dermatology for many years. I can honestly say that I do love all of the doctors, however, I am very saddened by their policy in which they refuse to look over. I had an appointment Monday at 12:15pm; the requirements for canceling are by Friday at 3pm. I had every intention of going to this appt until I received a phone call on Saturday morning that my nephew was leaving for the Marines and needed a ride to send off at 1pm on Monday. I called them immediately after to let them know I could not make the appt due to this. When they called back on Monday morning I told her the situation and she refused to waive the fee of $100. I guess my point is that after being with them many years and thinking that they were "family" I am disheartened to see that som
