Mitchell County Hospital

I was in Colorado City working, a couple hours from home. I found myself needing some emergency care and these people was absolutely amazing. I walked in not knowing what was wrong with me. Everyone was so nice and quick to get me to the back to take care of me. I ended up having kidney stones. First time and I'm glad a had Brandon, Tabetha and Grecia taking care of me. They made it as painless as possible for me during my visit and made sure I was comfortable for my journey home. Thank you guys so much!!!

I was admitted February 8th. I had a very bad infection. My left big toe was badly infected due to a cut on it. I’m diabetic. I was being treated for cellulitis in my toe. The antibiotics were just not killing the infection. So I went into surgery to remove my toe to save my foot. The entire staff at the hospital went above and beyond. They made sure that my lengthy stay was always positive. They laughed with me and cried with me. I never felt like I was alone. Finally the day comes, February 24th I got to discharge. My life has changed and thanks to the staff I’m alive. There are not enough words to express how I feel. I mattered to them. Thank you Mitchell County Hospital. Keep doing what you’re doing. Can't ever go in the Er coming from out of town receptionist is so rude and snide remarks! Why does it matter if your a different city. I'm done going over there they have completely lost my business!

On Friday, my husband, who was working in the area, called me at 11:52AM and said he thinks he was having was a heart attack (luckily he wasn’t on the job site). He looked up closest hospital near him and drove his self there. He found the nearest door he could walk in and a nurse found him in the hallway. I was on the phone listening; he told her he thought he was having a heart attack and they jumped into motion, calling for assistance as he didn’t even enter through the emergency doors. At 12:07PM he had his first EKG were in fact he was having a heart attack! I’m not sure of the ladies name or the nurses name that assisted, but we are forever grateful for your kindness, attention, and help! The ER doctor on calls name was Chip, I’m so grateful for his communion and working in my husban

My wife went to the emergency room for pain she had, they just brushed it off then charged 800 for doing absolutely nothing and the doctor was rude aswell at the nurses.
