Customer Reviews
When my brother was admitted to Mission Hospital I read the reviews and they were kinda alarming. He was on the fourth floor of the cardiac building and my expectations were guarded. But to my surprise the given care was simply amazing. The professional staff not only did their tasks , they were genuinely caring. Any assistance was given at a touch of the button. And continuous monitoring by some of the nicest nurses and assistants one could hope for. I let these kind hard working people know how grateful we were and praised all their efforts. They are only people and deserve our gratitude for caring about our loved ones. Thank you Mission Hospital, you are five stars all the way.
We had an accident while snow tubing and went to Mission hospital because it was closest to our hotel. We are not from the area and didn’t know where to go, but we decided to try Mission Hospital. From the moment we walked into the ER, my young daughter and I felt comfortable. The staff was quick to help us and so kind to my scared child. They gave her two Christmas presents that someone had donated to “sick kids while in the hospital” and she was overjoyed. Every staff member was kind, quick, thorough and helpful. I felt like they listened to my concerns and did what was necessary to put us at ease. The ER doctor was so kind and had good bedside manners plus all of the staff was wonderful! Thank you!!
Me and my wife are here delivering our first and only child, the attention to detail and round clock check up I have no complaints of the nurses and doctors. How ever, we arrived here march 4 at 2pm We parked at entrance #9 labor and delivery, was parked there all night. All the tending door folks were kinda and courteous. Brenda how ever is a piece of work. I leave this morning, demands I park in another part of the hospital and walk what seems like a mile. . I have a bad knee and my wife as me leave often to check on our animals. Long story short. . She needs to be written up for poor conduct. There were no rules explicitly telling me I couldn't stay parked out there. I hope the hr at mission sees this. Contact me. I'll will give further information on her demeanor. I did not appre
Spent four days after back surgery. Sadly I will never return to this facility. If the government ran a hospital, this would be it. I am not a complainer nor a nit picker. However, the staff repeatedly missed medications, physical therapy and taking vitals. Often the staff complained about their PTO time being taken because of dwindling profits, but stated the many outside facilities Mission Health was purchasing. This seemed to have hindered the staff's desire to be efficient or caring. On my first walk (48 hrs after spinal surgery) with a physical therapist, I felt I was being way too skeptical, when I thought I sensed she was pushing me to buy the walker, until I said "I don't think I need it", she instantly said "then leave it right there". I was forced to walk without the walk
Duke is 3 hours away. If you are in need of serious surgery, go with them as they are the best in the area. The ER line here had me concerned when I arrived as I had never seen so many seriously ill people waiting for help. Upon looking into other reviews, I discovered that long ER wait lines commonly occurs here. That sort of thing happening occasionally may be acceptable, but based on the reviews it occurs frequently. That is unacceptable and should be illegal. I hope the US government corrects broken hospitals like this so such horrors cease to exist. Duke got me into a bed within 10 minutes for reference. I could go on, but I'll leave it here. Avoid at all costs
