MinuteClinic at CVS

This place has gotten terrible reviews, so I was reluctant to book an appointment for my child’s immunizations. It was actually a great experience- appointment was easy to book, check in process was simple, and we were called back a few minutes early. Taoheed Kasumu, the NP on duty was amazing. Giving two vaccinations to a 5 year old who’s not a fan of shots isn’t easy, but Taoheed was so good! Will definitely go back!

I should have listened to the reviews. Made an appt for 9:30am for a physical and titers that I need urgently (within 48hrs for employment). I checked in and proceeded to wait for 15+ minutes. There were multiple people also waiting with me and the pharmacy was closed. No one working at the store knew if minuteclinic was open even though it said it is open today 9am-5:30pm.

I had been waiting at the patient first nearby for almost an hour before I left and drove over to the minute clinic nearby. I was seen by Ben the Nurse Practitioner who listened to my concerns, was thorough, and explained what was going on. He is an excellent provider. Update December 2022: So I was overcharged during my visit ($40 instead of $10 copay). I had contacted CVS months ago, and they said I would have to wait 6-8 weeks for a refund through the mail. It is now December, and I still have no refund check in the mail. CVS refused to send me the refund back to my card.

Staff was kind and helpful and we were in and out in a reasonable amount of time during what I know is a busy busy cold and flu season.

This is a great place with great staff. The nurses here are all friendly and caring. I brought my whole family here and everyone received proper treatment. The other staff in this CVS is great as well.
