MinuteClinic at CVS

My partner went in to get checked for flu-like symptoms after he had just finished taking care of me while I had covid. You would fully expect them to perform a covid test, right? That was not the case for this location, they only performed a flu test… after knowledge that he has been exposed to covid. Why is it that I visit this location not even a week ago, get tested for Flu, strep, and covid, but he gets refused for a covid test and then gets told to buy his own test and then book a virtual appointment? This is absurd, you pay money for a doctors appointment to get checked for what you are sick with, not just a singular test. I am frustrated with the lack of care. The only redeeming thing I will say- about my own visit, is how wonderful and kind Lynn Calvert is. She was very comforting

Horrible service. They are so rude. And refuse to answer a simple question. Would never recommend anyone wasting their time! I wish I got the ladies name she shouldn’t be working there

I felt terrible, but Dr. Calvert was so sweet and patient with me! She was warm and professional and thorough, and I felt like a real person and not just a number to be checked off for the day. This was not a stereotypical "doc in a box" experience, and I will definitely go back to see her the next time I feel sick enough to see a doctor. Two thumbs up! 👍👍

I decided to visit MinuteClinic, hoping for a quick and efficient experience. I arrived early for my appointment, but when my scheduled time arrived, another patient was seen instead. Unfortunately, this led me to cancel my appointment and seek care at another urgent care facility. I believe better scheduling or communication could enhance the overall experience for patients.

Outstanding experience at CVS Minute Clinic on Main Street Allen Tx! Nurse Amy did an excellent job of putting us at ease, answering all questions and handling everything promptly and professionally. Ruth (NP) was clear and concise in her explanations and thorough in response and treatment. We did not feel rushed. Treatment felt very personal and caring. We highly recommend MinuteClinic
