I do not recommend this orthodontist. They are very disorganized and made us come to multiple appointments for no reason. Twice, once we arrived, they wanted to repeat procedures that had already been done for my son, and then told us we could leave because nothing would be done. I asked to speak with Mimi because she recommended removing four of my son’s teeth, and I needed a clear explanation of the treatment plan. She was unable to explain it professionally and simply said we could proceed if I wanted to. Appointment times are never respected due to overbooking. Overall, a very poor experience, although the front desk staff is kind.

I came in for a routine cleaning and had a good experience overall. The front desk staff was friendly when I arrived, and the office was clean and comfortable. I didn’t have a long wait, which I really appreciated. The hygienist was gentle and checked in to make sure I was doing okay throughout the cleaning. The dentist was professional and took a few minutes to explain what they saw and what I should keep an eye on going forward. Nothing felt rushed or uncomfortable. Overall, it was a smooth, stress-free visit, and I’d feel comfortable coming back again.

Dr. Mimi is lovely and very personable. However the office experience and staff need improvement. We waited 30+ minutes past our scheduled time to be seen for a new patient appointment. The office is very small and very crowded. There is no privacy. What ultimately made us decide to look elsewhere was the lack of follow through from staff. I reached out to the office 3 times to obtain a new cost estimate due to new insurance information. The first time I left a voicemail and received no response. The second time I left a message, I received a text message almost a WEEK later. I am an older adult who'd been suffering from crowding of my front bottom teeth since my late teens. The gums in that area were sensitive and flossing was sometimes painful, so I was concerned about it getting worse as I got older. I decided to look into getting the crowding treated and went for a consultation with an orthodontist close to my home in Southern MD. During that consultation, I was told I wasn't a candidate for braces, which was really disappointing and discouraging. A month after that, I went to my periodontist in Rockville, MD, and during that visit, expressed how disappointed I was after being told I couldn't get braces. My daughter got comfortable to the new environment quickly, despite being somewhat shy. The staffs are friendly! She hasn't had much problem with her braces, either. Though when she does, they find an effective solution fast. The doctor is professional and able to answer my questions. I would highly reccomend this doctor to everybody.
