I absolutely loved my session with Barbara. I was recently given a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, so my body has been going through it. She took the time to listen to me and give me some much needed encouragement and relaxation as a new mama going through everything. She made me feel super comfortable and took great care of me. The hot stones were great and you can tell from her techniques and knowledge about the different systems of the body that she really knew how to relieve tension and help you fully release and relax. I experienced one of the worst and uncomfortable massages I’ve ever had. Normally when one leaves a spa, their muscle are a little tender where pressure was applied and knots were being worked out. That was not my experience at all. Tina was very nice but the massage was more of an oil rubdown with no pressure applied. The hot stones were a joke about two passes on the back and legs. She massaged my scalp with her oily hands and my hair stood on end when I got up to get dressed. If that wasn’t weird enough, I left my underwear on for my comfort, and she would put her hands up my underwear and rub then it was like she shook my fat roll but no actual massaging was taking place.
