Miele Frank, OD

Dr. Miele is extremely knowledgeable, kind & patient with adults, as well as my young children. Your exam is never rushed & he always explains the reason to take tests, how they'll be administered & explains the results at length in a way that is understandable to a lay person. He truly cares about his patients. His office is always clean, cheerful & neat & the secretary, his wife Jackie is just as sweet & patient. To solidify how much he cares about his patients' best interests, he & his secretary both offered our family alternative options from other vendors that may have been more financially suitable for us. I recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Miele and Jacki are wonderful. Friendly, kind, professional, knowledgeable, thorough and caring. Dr Frank explains everything, listens and answers concerns or questions thoroughly so you understand exactly what's going on. His father, "Doctor Joe", had been our family's eye doctor until he retired, and when he did Dr Frank was my immediate choice. They are respectful of your time and don't keep you waiting well beyond your appointment, and they are so welcoming and friendly. I have complete trust in his knowledge, experience and professionalism.

There is a very mean-spirited 1 star review here. Don’t listen to this as it is completely unfounded, and because it is so far-fetched I feel like she must have the wrong doctor. As a long time patient of Dr Miele’s, I can tell you without a doubt his tons of 5 Star ratings are absolutely not ‘fake reviews’ as this person speculates. If you hate being seen at your actual appointment time and not sitting in a stuffy waiting room, a doctor who genuinely cares, a modern and comfortable office, and a doctor that doesn’t rush and treat you like just another number, then maybe Dr Miele isn’t for you. I am a repeat patient of Dr Miele. He is the best OD that I have ever had the pleasure of visiting in my 25+ years of having glasses. This time I even traveled over 100 plus miles for my appointment and it was more then worth it. I left not only with an updated prescription but with a totally new perspective on vision care. Most OD’s are set on high turnover without any time to establish a connection with their patient, I can promise you Dr. Miele is not one of those doctors. Best OD I've seen, hands down. Dr. Miele took time to explain each test and why each test was being performed. Patient, kind and extremely intelligent. Didn't try to up-sell services, glasses or lens. If you want someone that truly understands how the your eyes work instead of making you test on a computer - definitely make an appointment with Dr. Miele.
