Middlesex Health Primary Care - Old Saybrook

The receptionist there was the only nice person that I’ve ever spoken to! My doctor and rest of staff were horrible every time I walked in or called . Dr. Scott has the worst bedside manner of may doctor I’ve ever had . But the main reason I am writing this review is because of his Superiority complex. His supercilious attitude towards me was just unforgivable.

I can easily get an appt. here. Staff is very friendly and efficient. I love Alyssa. Kind and professional always. Nathan is great as well.

I am beyond disappointed in this practice. I’ve been going there for years. Been through a couple doctors due to them leaving the practice. Most recently I was seeing Dr Jones who left and now see Nathan Scott. Trying to get someone to speak to me about my blood test results was beyond painful. I have an upcoming surgery and need pre op clearance.can’t speak to an actual doctor. So instead get stuck with cranky office staff. I’m not going to go into great details, but will say that Meghan (I assume is a nurse) was incredibly rude and even sighed at me like I was bothering her. Toni, not any better. Both incredibly unprofessional. Obviously, they don’t like their job and are in the wrong profession. When you have a medical problem and get attitude from your doctors office, time to leave. Lo

Cannot fill prescriptions for extended periods of time. Front desk is rude both in person and over the phone. The nurses are this locations only redeeming quality. Can always get an appointment, most likely because they have lost so many patients due to their incompetency. However appointments don’t end in any results. Had to go to a different doctor to be taken seriously. Will NOT go back, and do NOT reccomend to anyone in the future.

Update 2: THEY WITHHOLD MEDICATIONS!! Life necessary medications like an emergency inhaler until you go in and make an unnecessary appointment, my asthma hasn’t changed, still got asthma. And they will not work with you or understand insurance. They just want money. I was told if I have an asthma attack TO GO THE EMERGENCY ROOM!! I can’t afford that! All they have to do is call in my prescription, same one I’ve been getting for years. They just want money and are ridiculous. I literally can not find the words to describe how angry I am. I am screwed, either die of an asthma attack or go into debt to go to the clinic. Heartless idiots. Update: front desk staff is horrible! I’m having an asthma attack, I call to see if they got my prescription from the pharmacy for a refill on my emergency
