Mid Atlantic Retina Specialists

I experienced cobweb floaters and was told I should see a specialist, Friday of course. I called and explained what I was experiencing. I was given an appointment for Tuesday. I questioned if I shouldn't be seen that day, but was told that is what they had. I called Cumberland Valley Retina and they worked me in that morning. Turns out I had a tear in my retina, zap-zap with the laser right there and it was fixed. I could have had a complete tear if I had waited until Tuesday.

Tried getting an appointment for what is clearly a retina issue. They told me to “see an eye doctor” just all around unhelpful and seem like they don’t want patients anyway. Thanks for nothing.

Seriously I owe Dr.G and his staff my life! Anything I write here will never justify how thankful I am. They are all so wonderful and welcoming, instead of dreading an appointment, I am so happy to arrive for my appointment. I have been getting treatment with Dr.G for four years and yes there has been pain but with that comes so much care and compassion. They have become like a second family, honestly could not have asked for a better Doctor and team. They truly care about their patients. The treatment I have received from Dr. Gerstenblith has been excellent. He is a compassionate and caring doctor, who not only treated my eye issues with skill and competence, but also was reassuring and personable...a thing not so often found these days in the medical profession.
