Historical plaque inscription: Opened in 1956, as a Schwab's Pharmacy, this old-style pharmacy is one of the few in the area with a luncheonette counter and soda fountain. A little coffee shop with a soda fountain counter called the Mortar & Pestle was originally located at the rear of the shop. By the early 1960s, the pharmacy was purchased by druggist Mickey Fine and the name was changed.

I’ve used their services for over 5 years, filled dozens of prescriptions and I’ve never had a single glitch that was their fault. Sometimes it was the fault of the doctor’s office, sometimes the insurance company’s, but never Mickey Fine’s. The staff is always courteous and efficient. I LOVE that they are also a compounding pharmacy and that they have extended hours including in the weekend. I also appreciate that delivery is an option. Last but not least, I like supporting smaller, family owned businesses, I truly think they try hard to take care of the customer because ultimately this is what keeps them in business. I highly recommend them. I know I will be going back over and over.

Went to Mickey fines to pick up a prescription for the 1st time. I was so excited because what a gem of a place in the middle of BH. The pharmacy tech Maria was so rude and disrespectful not just to me but the person behind me as well and I do understand people have bad days but that’s no way to treat people. She seemed to be unorganized and rude from the beginning, very bad energy. The elderly man behind me seemed hard of hearing and I overheard her demeaning him for not hearing her correctly.. Not cool.. I decided to walk away and look around the store as I waited for my prescription and I met Denah who was so wonderful, kind and helpful the literal saving grace of my experience here.. Even seeing her help other customers and her way with their dogs was such a treat.. She’s a true treasu

This morning, I contacted the pharmacy to inquire about the availability of my medication. The attendant confirmed it was in stock. I then asked about the cost and was advised to ask my doctor to send the prescription directly to the pharmacy for pricing. I did so. Later, I called again to check if the prescription was ready. A staff member first asked for my personal details and inquired about the previous pharmacy where I filled my prescription. She then returned to tell me that the medication was not in stock. I explained that I had asked my doctor to send the prescription here because I was told they had it. The staff member responded rudely, stating that no one had informed me the medication was available, and advised me to return to my previous pharmacy, which is now quite far from m
