Michigan Advanced Pain & Spine

I've been seeing Dr Q, Dr Perez, Alex, and David for years, ever since my previous pain doctor retired. This is a completely different experience from ANY other doctor I've seen (which is a lot considering I have many complicated and rare health conditions). If anyone has a complicated medical background and needs pain relief I HIGHLY recommend this office! I really don't know what could've happened to some of the people leaving negative reviews, my experience has always been professional and compassionate. It's not always the news you want to hear but you get the help you need. I've had multiple procedures and injections, not all of them successful, but the staff never gives up when met with a challenge. Of course there have been issues with insurance but I don't fault the office staff

I have been coming here to Michigan Advanced Pain & Spine for years now. The doctors discuss treatments with you and make you feel as comfortable as possible. The staff and nurses are all so nice and make you feel at ease. I can honestly say that I am happy with my choice to use this office for my health needs.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went to 1 appointment 2 months+ ago and communication regarding pre- authorization for testing has been ignored causing 2 MRI cancellations and I haven't been able to be seen since because the doctor wanted tests first. Now I haven't even been able to get medicine refilled.... It's an absolute mystery how many stars they have!! My first appointment I left feeling encouraged I had finally found a good pain management clinic!!! Turns out it's been an awful experience and everything they told me at the appointment was a lie!!!

If you suffer from TMJ (jaw pain) this is the place for you. I absolutely love Dr perez Alex and all the nurses and front desk people. They are like family to me. I go under anesthesia in the surgical center every 6 months when I need to, to get nerve blocks in my jaw and everyone is so professional. I love dr. Zaki and all the nurses are so professional and I get such great relief. In between I get pain injections and they give me tremendous relief. They offer a wide variety of procedures to help people and understand your pain. They take my insurance which is also a plus. I love this place and wouldnt know what to do without them. I’ve had a very frustrating experience with the authorization department here. The doctors, nurses, front desk staff, and even the surgical center team have all been wonderful, but the manager of authorizations, Nicole, was extremely rude and condescending on the phone. I’ve never been spoken to by a medical representative with such a nasty tone. When I called to express my disappointment with delays in my case, she acted as if I had no right to feel that way. On Sept 22, I was told the manager would be submitting an appeal the next day. I even contacted my physical therapist and chiropractor myself to rush over clinical notes to help. Yet, the appeal wasn’t submitted until Sept 25. That delay, combined with poor communication, caused my surgery to be pushed back again. I strongly encour
