Michelle Emanuel

Michelle is the baby whisperer! I wish I could just live at her office. It’s so peaceful and beautiful to watch how she communicates with her infant patients and treats them like they are their own person (because they are!). As a new postpartum mom I almost felt like I was getting therapy because of how comforting it was having someone come alongside us and equip us to have the best outcome for our baby's surgery. You can tell Michelle not only has a passion for what she does but an incredible gift of understanding the body and how it all integrates in the precious and ever-changing first year of life. We went to her for pre-op and post-op therapy for our baby, and it was a fantastic experience.

Michelle is so knowledgeable and taught me a lot in the one session we had! My baby doesn't have a tongue or lip tie but seems so stiff and prefers feeding on one side over the other. I left our one session with tons of ways to work with her and strengthen the muscles on her weaker side. We will definitely be back!

Michelle is incredibly skilled, informed, and has such a passion for helping babies which is amazing to witness. We took our 7 week old to her for support after her tongue/lip tie revision because we were still struggling with her latch and reflux. Our baby had a noticeable improvement in her latch after just one session and Michelle sent us home with a great bunch of tips and exercises to continue to do at home to support her. She is a baby whisperer with a gentle touch and has such a great understanding of babies. We are so grateful for her care.

I know so many people have had positive experiences with Michelle and I'm so grateful she was able to help them. We had a negative experience with her and I've seen many in mom groups say the same but I see that only positive experiences are represented in the reviews. We came to Michelle after she was recommended when our child was about 3 weeks old. She was evaluated and found to have a tongue/lip/cheek tie by a lactation consultant. We were told by everyone that body work was the best next step before revision. I should have trusted my gut and revised right away. We trusted Michelle's guidance and went a couple times a week for months and did homework/everything we were told to hopefully get the stamp of approval for revision. It never came.
