I am very disappointed with my experience at this practice. Last year, this doctor diagnosed me with early cataracts and suggested concern about early glaucoma. I paid nearly $300 for the initial exam, left worried, and was under the impression that I was developing serious eye conditions. After moving and changing doctors this year, I had a full eye exam with a new ophthalmologist. I was told I do NOT have early cataracts nor any signs of glaucoma. This raises serious concerns about the accuracy of the original diagnosis and the professional ethics involved. A misdiagnosis not only caused unnecessary stress but also resulted in significant out-of-pocket costs. Patients trust physicians with their health. A little more than a year ago, I had my first patient visit with Dr. Salinas, because my previous eye doctor had passed away. My first office visits were wonderful, except for the part where I was told I had the beginnings of cataracts. Fast-forward a year later, when I get a text—not a phone call—scheduling my annual follow-up. Well, not only was the date and time impossible for me, the next available date and time was months later, and you can only schedule over the phone or in-person.
