Well, unfortunately once again, I’m disappointed with the medical community. It’s unfortunate that it’s just a business how quickly can we herd the patients in and out it’s not about trying to help people have wellness in their life. I was basically just given a Band-Aid a temporary relief instead of an address to the root problem, or even any kind of guidance on how to manage the chronic pain that I have. I think he was way more interested in having lunch with his staff then he was assisting me with anything.. I hope one day we can have functional integrative medicine at the forefront.

Strep test came back negative. He said may have been in first 24 hours so could have been false negative. Instead of looking at my symptoms and prescribing something, he sent me on my way with directions for over the counter meds for comfort. Symptoms steadily got worst, so had to do a second copay and appointment to get prescription for guess what, strep! He was very nice, just wish outcome was different.

Very impressed with his professionalism. Very detailed and kind. I was also very happy this time as I did not have a long wait time. Highly recommend him and the team that helped me that day!

I felt like he was rushing even though there were nobody else waiting. A bit arrogant, borderline disrespectful towards me. He asked me a question about my son, and I wasn’t totally sure about the answer so he cut me off and after that he ignored me and engaged his questions with my wife. Not knowing that my wife main language is Spanish. He needs to work on his patience and social skills.

Took my 11 year old daughter to the express care in Hewitt where she was diagnosed with strep throat. Michael Fichter was efficient, forthright and knowledgeable. Will make future appointments with him when possible.
