Michael Kevin O’Brien, M.D., Ph.D

One of the worst. Had gallbladder surgery with this guy years ago who at the last minute replaced another doctor who couldn't do the surgery for some reason. Maybe he got a last minute invite to a cocktail party or something. Who knows? But THIS guy....O'Brien....he didn't even introduce himself beforehand but just stood in the corner of the operating room ... standing in the shadows like a creepy little troll. Scary stuff. Not the kind of thing you want to see when you're about to go under the knife. And then you have an anesthesiologist with tattoos all over his arms putting you under. That to me wasn't very reassuring either. But this O'Brien made absolutely no attempt to interact with me nor provide any reassurance whatsoever about the impending surgery....which I had initially put off

Must be a skilled Dr, but his bedside manor is atrocious. We went in for a consultation and advice on a cyst, the next thing we know with no warning while examining he slices my wife open on her backside which she wasn't expecting and then rushed her out of the office and actually MADE her, pay for little bottle gauze from them. He might have been having a bad day but when I saw my wife come out of the building traumatized and crying I was pretty upset myself and wanted to go have a man to man chat with the good Dr. Then they gave us NO information or advice or even paperwork on how to "pack an open wound" and when we called we pleaded for pain meds (as she was in excruciating pain) and some kind of instruction, and they made us physically drive 45 min back to the office to pick up the PAP
