I went to Dr. Lieppmans office based on a recommendation from my mother. He performed surgery on her eyes back in the late 70's. She raved about how good a doctor he was and I trusted this recommendation. However, I learned the hard way that this doctor is sadly past his prime. All of his office and equipment looked dated (I brushed this off and thought, oh the office is a bit dated, but Dr Lieppman is a great doctor, this old equipment shouldn't matter, experience is key with a doctor right!?) I was diagnosed as a "Glaucoma Suspect" by an Optometrist and needed an Ophthalmologist to confirm or deny the Glaucoma suspicion; I thought who better than Dr. Lieppman, he has glaucoma listed as one of his specialties! Dr. Liepmann saved my life 32 years ago. I was having trouble seeing out of my right eye, so I went to see him. He immediately recognized the signs of a brain tumor and sent me for an MRI. The very next day, I was in surgery. Thanks to his quick diagnosis and expertise, I’m still able to see and wasn’t left completely blind. Dr. Lieppman is an amazing doctor. He treated my mother for macular degeneration and has helped her immensely. He is highly qualified and I’m happy that he has been able to help my mother! My mother loves him too! I highly recommend Dr. Lieppman to everyone needing an exceptional doctor!

When you have an appointment with this doctor you get to see him, not several women pre-screening you. There is a small, friendly, family atmosphere. The doctor has been in practice a number of years and will make referrals when necessary.
