Metro Dentalcare Lakeland

This dentist was on the Delta Dental Premier Plan and should be removed from the plan. This dentist has a difficult time getting the dentist tax id put into the Delta Dental System. Why because they have had 4 different dentists come and go in the last 1 and 1/2 or so. If they don't register the dentist with Delta Dental, even though Metro says they are in the Delta Dental Premier Plan, you will get a bill first of all that has false stuff on it and then one that doesn't account for you paying Delta Dental for the teeth cleanings etc and then you will get a hygienist that doesn't know how to look up the past images you had done and then does them too early and not according to the approval of the plan. I received the bills online and called. These people go from being nice to calling

They don't know how to bill. They don't submit to Delta Dental and Metro says they are in network. Look at your bills. The last dentist here, the previous 3 were temporary too. If the current dentist doesn't submit tax ID you are billed out of network and charged for services a dentist in network would not. They also do not effectively check the records to see when your next set of images should be done. The hygienist, last 2 are traveling. This office also said they cover emergencies. We called and the call center had the last dentist who left as the primary contact. We told the call center and asked them to contact the office manager. Had my first visit here yesterday and everyone was wonderful. I brought my 4 year old so that he could get comfortable before his appointment and the entire staff was so kind and accommodating. Happy to have found a new dental office!

Very happy with my latest visit with Metro Dental, Lakeland. Every one was very pleasant, friendly and thorough. Made sure I was comfortable and understood what was going to happen. Very interested in what my concerns were and acted on them. Pat Mazzitello

I was able to make my appointment online and get in to have a tooth extracted that has been bothering me. Dr. V did a great job as did Nicole his assistant.
