So far I can see why some have left the reviews about how service can be better here . My first experience has been ok , however I don’t care for the miscommunication or lack of communication my appointment have been rescheduled twice without it being brought to my attention . I only would become aware by randomly browsing the patient portal . I’m beginning to think the staff could care less , losing weight is a priority for patients that are coming here , I can understand the large volume of patients that are probably coming however it’s important to treat all patients the same in rendering the service of ensuring the patients that the weight management appointments are just as important to I them for you to get in as soon as possible.

My mother left this place sobbing after a first time consultation with Dr. Daryl Marx. I understand that not following through with the aftercare of bypass surgery is dangerous, but he took one look at my mother and said she would never succeed bypass surgery. Not only that, but continued in saying that these surgeries are his “brand” and that if he were to perform this surgery on her it could make him look bad. Also, a doctor should never tell a patient that “it’s better to be fat for the rest of your life than to deal with the drawbacks of bypass”. Sorry you didnt get your specialty of choice and have to treat obese people, Dr. Marx, but just because you’re miserable doesn’t mean you get to make patients miserable!

Every one there is amazing. Started seeing them June 4th got sleeved Dec 8. If I had to do it all over again I would. Thank y’all! 😘

From the moment you walk into the door with the super friendly front desk staff until you walk out of the building nothing but amazing care! Could I give Dr. Albaugh 100 stars? He is top of the line in bariatric surgery and extremely intelligent. He is always willing to answer questions, explains things with care and concern and has an amazing bedside manner. I was extremely blessed to see him and his fellow associates at Metamor Clinic. Dr. Saunders also was amazing and answered all questions I had with thought and consideration. Holly NP was great she is down to earth and very knowledgeable about anything asked of her. I couldn't ask for better care.
