Mesquite Children's Clinic, PA

This is a walk-in children’s clinic where you can see an actual pediatrician, unlike at an urgent care where the doctor charges $$$ and tells you to go see a pediatrician 😒 Yes, the wait times are long, but that’s the nature of a walk-in clinic. So I just come prepared to wait. I know that when it’s my turn in the visit room, the doctor isn’t gonna be rushed with me, so I don’t want them to be rushed with others just because I’m waiting. The waiting area smells like cleaning products, and it’s an older office. But it’s clean. Other people might want an updated office, but I don’t want to pay updated prices. I’ve never had any issues with the staff, and each of the doctors are great (I’ve had visits with all 3 of them over the years). So 5/5 would recommend.

Been going to this doctor since I was a child so I decided to bring my kids here, I’ve been having some concerns with my child and I kept bringing him back, seemingly like the doctor just doesn’t care or brushes it off like it’s normal. They also try to get as many people in and out as fast as possible. the doctor is always in a rush so you don’t feel heard, therefore I made the decision to switch doctors and best decision! Also don’t let me get started at the front desk girls that always have a stank attitude and act like it’s so much work to print my kids shot record. And very dirty !

Today my wife brought our kids here after not visiting the office for awhile and after my wife mentioned we would no longer be giving our kids anymore immunizations we was told they were no longer gonna be able to see our kids as it's policy to not see unvaccinated children. But had no problem telling my wife they'd still like to confirm my son's not having anymore issues in 2 weeks and then we'd have to find a new dr. Instead of admitting they get cash bonuses when they administer immunization to kids the Dr told my wife it was just policy and we'd need to find another Dr after the follow up for my son even though HB44 passed September 1st of 2023 stating Drs aren't allowed to discriminate against children over immunization status being up to date. Best doctor!!! I have been taking all my babies there for 26 years ! I have 7kids lol. They are great people and they will get a hold of the doctor after hours if needed for emergencies. I encourage everyone to take their babies there ...

We scheduled an appointment as new patients and sat in their waiting room for an hour, when I went up to ask if this was normal wait time they said “she is putting your info in now” ???? Really just now?!? After an hour of sitting there! So I go back to waiting cause she said it would only be like 10 more minutes, another hour passes finally I said take my kids off your books, not a good first impression! Looking at the amount of ppl in that clinic it is ran quality over quality! My daughters health is more important than your cash flow!
