Merrimack Urology Associates

My husband has made 2 appointments here and for both they have called and rescheduled for months later. The reasoning this time was "the doctor has done a lot of surgeries this summer" so I assume he's canceling multiple appointments to take a vacation. You should plan that in advance. So completely unprofessional. Edit to add they have already called and rescheduled a third time!

Very disappointed in this place. They don’t know how to talk to people and don’t allow you to ask questions or return phone calls. Dr assumes he knows my son’s condition after a year without seeing him and decides to drop him as a patient very unprofessional.

They are very caring. I canceled my appointment in error. They actually called me to make sure I meant this. Which I hadn't. I ended up getting an earlier appointment that day. I got to my appointment and they gave me a detailed appointment. Really listened to me. It's refreshing for someone to listen to your concerns

I went to see Dr. Altman because I have 35 kidney stones. He was totally unprofessional. He told me that I only had two kidney stones that were of concern since the other ones were too small and weren't "causing a problem". He also disregarded my abnormal urinalysis and refused to give me antibiotics for what turned out to be a kidney infection. I had to get them from my nephrologist. I was told that I needed pain management for a kidney infection 😡. If I come back it will be to see a female urologist not a male one 😔

Every time I have an appointment with him, they call me a week before and postpone it to a much later date because the doctor is unavailable. What is this? If you're not committed to your patients, then you shouldn't be practicing medicine. I've been waiting for this appointment for a whole year, and my condition is truly critical. Yet every time, they call me casually and say the doctor is not available.
