Meritus Pediatric and Adult Medicine Smithsburg

I took my baby here one time and they denied care for my baby due to me not vaccinating.. first red flag. This was when my baby was just a week old so and she was still a little yellow and jaundiced so she requested a bilirubin test again even though I told her that the yellowing has gone way down. I took her over to the lab to get her blood drawn and the lady sat and squeezed the blood out of my baby’s foot for a good 5 minutes and the tube wasn’t even a quarter way full.. she then pricked her foot again to get more blood to come out faster.. mind you my baby is SCREAMING and has now spit up and is laying in her spit up and the lady would not stop for me to clean her up…it was heartbreaking and I would never go here or recommend to anyone.

The NP student, Liz was amazing today. She was very concise, informative, and friendly. I usually see Bryan and he is also amazing, but Liz really went above and beyond at my appointment today. I know she will make a great NP!

I've been going here since I moved back to Maryland and I have received excellent care when needed. But this morning I've been trying to call to get an appointment and nobody is answering the phone. I hate to go to urgent care and explain my life history when it's already on file 😕. Sucks to get sick 😫.

My dr bryn is great but this place sucks. I cant even call to ask a simple question about if i can take these meds with these ones and no one will help so ill js die ig oh well

I've been going to this practice since I was a baby. I recently started seeing Bryan Peralta for myself and my son and he is absolutely fantastic! He's genuine and has the patients best interest in mind, always friendly and always helpful. He worked in mental health previously and he's been so considerate when I discussed my issues with him. Every time I visit the practice I leave knowing that I've been heard and understood by the staff which is an amazing feeling!
