Meridian Family Eyecare

Not a good experience. I have been a customer of Meridian Family Eyecare for my family for over 15 years. I tried different eye care and now understand I have been in a subpar sales oriented environment. Push you to look at glasses even if you dont need them because your insurance will pay out and uncaring staff to boot. Its your vision!

Five stars aren’t enough for Meridian Family Eye Care. As a glaucoma patient, I have received outstanding medical care and treatment from Dr. Thieme for the past five years. His office staff is kind, knowledgeable, and professional. Finding this practice was a gift, and I highly recommend them for all your vision and eye health needs.

I highly recommend this place if you are looking for quality eye care. I've been going here for a couple years and I always have been treated so kindly. The doctors and staff are knowledgeable, friendly and really listen to your needs. They have a wide selection of frames and a cute office that has a theme in each room. I believe they are a family business which is great to support.

My experience at Meridian Family Eyecare has always been exceptional. I have needed to go in twice now for two different and unrelated eye emergencies. The staff was responsive and was able to get me in the same day. It is a beautiful office. I was greeted by someone right away when coming in and taken back in a very short time. I have had quite a few different tests run, and the equipment is always clean and well maintained. Dr. Thieme is a wonderful doctor. He is professional and listens. I highly recommend Meridian Family Eyecare

Pros -Nice location and clean. -Doctor with good bedside manners. Cons -the same greed corrupting healthcare as a whole. -poor communication/billing when informing patients of tests. -They will perform tests that are not covered by insurance. -Medicare only covers the annual exam for certain conditions but the facility will perform other stuff knowing full well the poor coverage by some insurances. -patients have to be asked whether they can pay for non covered tests.
