Mercy Neurology Center

I’ve had tons of medical issues for the past year. Been tested for everything under the sun until all my doctors finally referred me to neurology, can’t go to dent due to previous issues, couldn’t get into contact with UBMD. Ended up in Mercy’s ER for these issues where they told me to go here. Waited over two months for the appointment to be talked to like I’m 5 years old then told “you’re too young for these issues” “its just stress” and “its just muscle spasms” she told me to go to Physical Therapy (PT forced me to stop going because of how much worse it made me) then INSISTED I had to go to Dent when I said MULTIPLE times that I cannot go back there. NEVER GO HERE!! If I could leave negative stars i would.

Awful! Called Dr. Valicu's office for an appointment for my husband after visiting his primary that requested a neurological work up. Receptionist asked the reason for the visit/symptoms, was put on hold and told she just caught the Dr. and you need to go to the ER. When I stated it was not a emergency was told go to ER anyway, they have better equipment than we do. Would literally NOT LET ME MAKE an appointment for him, said didn't feel comfortable. Look elsewhere, don't waste your time or energy with this one!!

Unprofessional, Rude and Unreliable. I had my initial appointment with the neurologist here on January 29th. The reception that was at the front desk was rude to everyone who approached her. Extremely snippy with the elderly gentleman that was in front of me. When I approached she ask me questions but ,would cut me off before I could answer them. When I went in to see the neurologist, I was in and out of the appointment in less than 5 minutes. All he honestly did was send me off to make other appointments with other doctors. I had to wait on Mercy hospital to call & schedule me for another MRI for my head/brain. (I had one done within the past few months) After about a week, when they hadn't called, I called back to Mercy Neurology center to speak with someone to see if they had any infor

Dr. Shad is an amazing doctor. From the start she listened to me and took me seriously. There was no gaslighting,no shaming, no brushing off. I genuinely felt comfortable with her and I already trust her. She is educated and poised. I had a great experience here.
