Mercy Hospital Watonga

Honestly, the experience depends on which part you visit. I did physical therapy in 2023 and I had amazing experience. The staff were polite, friendly, and supportive! Unfortunately, I recently had an experience that made me feel less safe in the Mercy environment. It was very disheartening to experience unprofessional behavior and impoliteness over a sensitive procedure, and I’m hoping Mercy can ensure that future patients don’t have to endure being mocked by medical professionals.

I've been all over this hospital. For an all over experience, I'd have to give it 3 stars. It's hard to get live person on the phone, then when you do they transfer you to another place with a voice mail or something. I'm going to physical therapy right now and they gave me a direct phone number, they said sometimes you can't get through when you call the hospital. Now, for physical therapy I'd give them 5 stars. They know exactly what you need, today I was feeling light headed and had just had a nerve block done on my back. So we took it easy and just worked on my knees and neck. I even got a wonderful neck massage. The nurses station is down the hall..and I've been admitted here, I know the food taste pretty good from the cafeteria, of course it's nothing fancy. Being a small hospital the care is AWESOME. The nursing staff is amazing with my Mom. God bless all of you.

Been rehabbing 2 broken femurs since February 15 . February 3, 2025 I helicoptered from the closest hospital to my home to OKC Mercy. Had major surgery to put plates in each leg to repair Femur breaks. Dr said it would possibly be approximately 3 months before I could go home. Will still be in a wheelchair. Have to figure out how to get a wheelchair ramp built. Morning shifts all get 5 stars. This is an excellent rehab facility. Depending upon who works night shift is reason it brings rating down. Most of night shift professional, considerate and caring. It can be brought down quite a bit because of lack of professional courtesy. Will be asking for a transfer tomorrow. Love 90% of staff, professionalism, etc. just don’t want to stay and have insurance pay exuberant fees for me

I think they're wonderful. They were all kind and took great care of me. They all always had a smile and showed such kindness. The kitchen staff created home cooked meals
