I don't know what exactly went wrong last year but things haven't gotten better. At some point the music we used to know when calling a Mercy clinic got removed, no menu for options, just someone who answers to ask abruptly, "What doctor do you have?", "What's your name and date of birth?". What happened to, "Hello, how can I help you today?". My doctor, suddenly left this summer. I never got notified. No letter, no email, no text, no call, no message in the Mercy app either. I found out just over a month later when I called the office, just a few days before I had a surgery. Come to find out what doctors were still there took on what patients they could, but could not accept anymore new patients. Everyone here is fantastic! The receptionists are very kind and personable. Dr. Burkheart is very patient and thorough. I have seen two different nurse practitioners and they were very kind and thorough as well. I am always able to get in to see someone in a timely fashion and they are always quick to get me in and out. I highly recommend this practice for primary care.

I just want to see if I'm the only one and it appears I'm not. I arrived with a sick kid, the staff was extremely rude. I waited two hours and walked into the hallway to speak with someone. I was told I need to go back to my room. I explained that I've been in there for 2 hours and Ashley got an attitude and told me to go back to my room. When she came back, she stated noone knew I was there when I was clearly told to wait in the room for test results. I don't normally leave reviews unless they are positive but this was absolutely ridiculous.

Here is what has happened to me. My husband switched over to Dr. Borgmann. He then was able to switch our teen daughter. When asked if I could switch, the receptionist said I was banned because of an outstanding bill. I called the office the next day. I found out I was NOT BANNED from Mercy. However, it doesn't end here. I still have to wait to see her as a PCP. The receptionist wants the doctor to decide whether or not she sees me as a patient. Lol. My husband has high bp and other medical problems. Oh well... Discrimination...
