I was sent home alright after being told I was going to speak to surgery scheduling for my daughter as they had just gone to lunch but I would get a call from them after they got back. It’s now been a week without hearing from them. I’ve called multiple times at different times of the day, only for them to say they don’t have the paperwork for her, to have just went to lunch so I have to leave a message,I’ve left a message and they’ll call me back, or leave me on hold me upwards of 20 minutes then hang up on me since it’s past operating hours. My concern is if I continue to not hear from them, the less openings there will be to get her surgery done at the date we talked about as it’s time sensitive.

Wait until 5hrs before my appointment to see about get released back to work, with them knowing I either get released or get fired/let go, and they re schedule my appointment for a week later. Upon explaining the situation I was told “your employment isn’t our problem, do you want the new appointment or not” This entire process has been plagued with rescheduling (on their part), excessive scheduling delays. Literally 3 weeks to get an MRI read to figure out why my hands are still numb after spine surgery. Mercy Orthopedics was absolutely amazing when I had to have my bicep reattached, but Neurosurgery has been lack luster and way below what anyone should expect after have a $300,000 surgery.
