Memorial Hospital of Carbon County

My experience was with Dr. Dowling, Robert E., Md and it was terrible. I would recommend walking out or crawling out if necessary if he is the Dr. assigned to your case. A hospital in America should be and feel like a “safe place” in my belief. I was in Memorial Hospital of Carbon county to receive care which Dr. Dowling refused to give me. He did however use his position and title to try and Intimidate and scare me. The nurses and other ER staff were very considerate and nice. They helped me to provide my self the care that I should have received from the Dr.. My bill is outrageous for the care I did not receive from him. Highly recommended using I-80 to find a better hospital if you find yourself in need of care in Rawlins, Wy. I hope this review does not negatively affect any nurses or

First time in 40 years of life ive ever needed to call 911 for myself. Was brought here from wamsutter, words can not express the absolute professionalism and understanding I witnessed here. I usually have a firm stance of take me to the vet before a hospital, but not here. From the ambulance ride on they impressed me. The doc and nurses were amazing, the imaging tech was great, and the cook who made my meal was brilliant. 100/5 from a man who hates hospitals, i will trust this hospital and their ambulance drivers with my life

My recent visit to Memorial Hospital of Carbon County was a mixed bag. On the one hand, I can't praise the ER staff enough – they were genuinely friendly, got me patched up, and had me out of there surprisingly fast, which I really appreciated. They definitely know their stuff and made a tough situation a bit easier. However, the emergency room itself felt really outdated. The flooring and lighting especially gave it a tired, old feel that didn't inspire much confidence. But the biggest headache has been dealing with their third-party billing. It's been a confusing mess trying to sort out charges, and to top it off, I was even sent to collections for a workers comps claim that was covered. I have always been very supportive of the hospital in Rawlins, but today 9/23/ I had an appointment at 1 for a mammogram I went in 10 minutes early to fill out the paperwork. So here I sit waiting at 1:45 a worker needed a mammogram and of course they take her 1st. I have vision issues so I can’t drive so my ride has to sit and wait for me. If you can’t get patients in on time don’t offer that time slot. Pretty crappy to treat people like this

This place should be shut down. I've never been treated so bad in my life. Blood pressure through the roof 210/190 But refusing to believe it even tho they are looking at it with their own eyes. Constant snarky, rude remarks from the staff. Remarks about my appearance insinuating I’m a drug addict even tho I passed a drug test. These people are unqualified torture artists. The food on the unit is rotten and stale. Look at that mayo! I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. This is what I imagine it felt like in a Soviet Union gulag. I thought I left Russia 30 years ago, this hospital just reminds me of 80s Soviet style hospitals. NEVER GO HERE THESE ARE BAD PEOPLE
