Memorial Hospital Foundation

Medical care was tremendous throughout my hospitalization. Entire staff was superb! However, not able to say the same for the non medical services! One hour and forty five minutes to get a simple tuna sandwich?!!! Ludicrous! Also, my entire stay I tried repeatedly to get someone from maintenance to fix the television in my room. Was boring enough lying in bed for 5 days, however, what made it worse was not being able to get anyone to even look at the television to determine what might have been wrong with it. Terrible, terrible service! However, I don’t want to take away from the superb medical care I received. Please FIX the non medical services!

I arrived at the emergency room at Memorial Hospital to have my ankle checked, which was injured at work a few nights ago. I spent five painful hours waiting, and it felt like the pain of waiting—along with my hunger and low blood sugar—was more intense than the actual injury to my ankle. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Medical Doctor and lung Therapist were absolutely horrible. They left my husband while he was having an attack. Day doctor and nurse in the observation room were very rude to my husband and questioned him because they could not believe that he did not smoke marijuana. Mind you he is a retired veteran. I had to wheel chair him out because no one wanted to do it. What a shame this will not end here. I will continue to fight for his rights until I am red in the face. You have discriminated against my husband because he is Africa American . How dare you.

Vicki McDaniel had total hip replacement at Memorial North in Colorado Springs on July 17, 2023 and wishes to give shout out to staff starting with Nicole who checked me in at 6am, thru my wonderful caring nurses Edrenesh, Eunice, Melissa, Jerri and Emily who gave me such excellent care thru my discharge July 18!! They truly took such good care of me and I'm extremely grateful!

Awesome Radiation Therapists. Took the time to listen and care for individual needs. Medical care was tremendous throughout my treatment. Entire staff (Dr's, nurses, therapist, receptionists) were superb.
