Memorial Care Urgent Care on Morton

Friendly staff but God almighty are they slow. I was there for almost an hour before the first of five people before me were finally called to be seen. Its a consequence of the service offered, I get that, but that doesn't make the wait any more palatable when I'm already sick and miserable.

Today I took my toddler here and when it was time for the nurse practioner Lauren Hull to come in to check my child out she asked the basic questions at first, then she asked if my child was exposed to smoke I said no, instead of believing me she said "I smell Marijuana from you that's why I'm asking so she's definitely exposed to it". I was very shocked and caught off guard. I told her the reason she might have smelled Marijuana is because I work at a cannabis plant growing cannibis for Ascend and i just got off a 10 hour shift. She clearly didnt care to hear it. She still was very rude the whole time. I was clearly judged, and I DO NOT recommend her. To add to this i, unfortunately, just seen her again today as of 07/27/25. We had to go in in the last hour of closing because that’s when my son‘s ear pain started (he was screaming, bloody murder, and crying nonstop) The front desk lady was nice and the first two nurses Who checked him in and took his vitals were really nice, but the last one who saw us (had blonde hair) acted extremely annoyed that we were there and did not care at all and didn’t do anything for him. We ended up having to take him to the ER because I’ve never seen him in so much pain and it turned out He had an ear infection and had to get put on antibiotics as well as eardrop antibiotics. Wouldn’t recommend going to this urgent care unless you wanna waste your time!

I went in for a strep test last night because I have a sore throat and white spots on my throat. I saw they grayhaired woman doctor who told me white spots are signs of a viral sore throat, not strep. Ive had strep 7 years in a row, on top of working in Healthcare for 3 years now. I know what strep throat feels & looks like. I tested negative but this morning at the hospital I tested positive. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The only reason I gave it one star was because I couldn’t it a zero! Went in today at 2:30 with flu like symptoms. There were only 2 people in the waiting room before me. Got in a room in about a half hour. Nurses (or whatever they were) took my vitals, did a Covid and strep test. Told me someone would be in after that. So, I sat there waiting for 2 1/2hrs!!!!!!! I went to the nurses station, where they were all casually sitting and talking. I said I really need to see someone or go home because I needed to lay down it’s been over 2 hours. One of them stand up and in a placating voice tell me, well they only have 2 providers and are doing the best they can and someone will see me shortly.
