Melvin Family Dentistry

I was patient here for years missed a few appts due to being a single father with six children and they dropped me. Called back and almost begged to be taken back on as a patient and was denied after many years of care. I understand missing appts is serious but after years of being a patient to drop me like that I thought this was a nice family owned establishment with empathy I guess not.

A clean, professional office with friendly staff and good service. I enjoyed my first visit to their practice from out of town and they even recommended a local restaurant (Tonis!) for dinner which we absolutely loved. Great family business

Dr. Melvin is an excellent dentist, however, I'm sure there are a lot of good dentist's in Savannah. So I will say that there is a long list of other reasons to go to Melvin family dentistry. Today I had appointments with my five kids, and whiIe I was holding my two-year-old for her checkup, my twelve-year-old got called back and thought it was a good idea to hand my two-month-old to my nine-year-old in the front waiting area. From where I was in the back I can hear my newborn start to scream but then instantly calm down. When I got to the front, Morgan had came around from behind the desk and was helping my overwhelmed nine-year-old with the baby. She had her calmed and taken care of, and because of that I was able to finish my two-year-olds appointment giving her my full attention withou

I had my second visit today and I must say I’m still impressed. The service is amazing; everyone is friendly and kind. My dental hygienist is very knowledgeable and she provides good feedback. Dr. Melvin is very down to earth. One thing that stood out to me was after my first visit I received a card in the mail from Dr. Melvin and his staff. The card was a greeting card that welcomed me to the dental family. The card was also signed by each staff member. That was a truly personable touch! I will definitely recommend Dr. Melvin to anyone looking for dentist, they are indeed awesome!

The care I received from Doctor Melvin was exceptional. The young lady that answered the phone when I called listened attentively to me as I tried to explain the level of pain I was experiencing. She informed me there was an open slot which was with two hours and got me scheduled right away. Dr Melvin is very thorough and the entire staff displays a high level of professionalism and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit.
