Meleca Foot and Ankle - Care, Treatment & Surgery

When I got to Dr Meleca’s office I found out my insurance didn’t cover his practice. I payed the fee, but couldn’t pay for the X-rays. Dr Meleca waved the fee. I was overcome by his generosity. After discussing my issue, I was surprised to find he had given me a much better alternative then my orthopedist suggested. He has more updated knowledge of how achieve success that would cause less down time and much less intrusion. I was so happy to have met him and his staff and I would definetly recommend him. Very grateful.

My boyfriend was referred to Dr Meleca for his flat feet. He told him he needed $500 inserts that he said we would not have to pay for, but came back and said we did. The inserts caused foot ulcers on his feet, which led to an infection and hospitalization. Yes he was seeing Dr Meleca for the ulcers. We were told to just watch them. We were also told he needed foot reconstruction for his flat feet. After his hospitalization we learned he actually has gout which was not even a consideration from Dr. Meleca. After all off the issues we had because of what he prescribed he would not offer to waive a $200 bill he had sent us for him visiting my boyfriend in the hospital. Dr. Meleca always speaks to the point with the patient's well-being in mind and freely shares his knowledge and experience. His office is impeccable and his staff is professional. My visits are regularly scheduled for maintenance and always promptly attended to.

Dr Meleca and his office staff were wonderful in providing care options for a challenging toenail situation with my son. They were extremely patient (pun intended!), caring and thorough - for which I am extremely grateful.

Booked with Dr Meleca and this practice was able to see my elderly mother within a week of calling for care. Mom has a serious pressure ulcer in her heel, which has been resistant to healing. Dr Meleca's office is clean, staff is so friendly and helpful. Mom felt very welcome there Upon seeing the wound, Dr Meleca advised us as to what he observed, and recommended we seek care with a Dr with greater resources than he can provide in his office. Dr Meleca spent plenty of time and educated us on the issues as he sees them. I am grateful for Dr Meleca's honest opinion and advisement!
