Meijer Pharmacy

We recently moved, and need a new pharmacy. Thought Meijer would be most efficient place, since we grocery shop there and live not to far. I’ve never been so wrong. I received a notification my medication was ready for pickup. So I went to pick up my wife’s medicine on a rainy day, of course the drive thru was closed. So I go inside, they tell me “ only half is ready, the other half would be ready 20 minutes” alright, I go shop around. Then I come back to a different girl, she says “ I’m sorry it will be 30-45 minutes till this is ready”. Sitting inside Meijar for 2 hours wasn’t on my bingo card. If you are looking for a fast/ reliable/ honest pharmacy, this isn’t it,

I have never had so many issues with a pharmacy before. There is an issue with every visit. If you need consistency, dependability, good clear communication and a positive attitude from a pharmacy - then I suggest you keep looking. This isn’t it.

We have been coming to this pharmacy for a long time but I have to say that today was a very pleasant experience. SUZANNE (I hope I got the spelling correct!) was friendly and appeared happy, which made our experience happy. She helped get medication situated for us very quickly and interacted with my 3 year old. We need more smiling people to spread joy like this! Thank you!

Drive thru is slow in the afternoons during the busy times after 3:00. It would be helpful if there was a rule for some reason you will be delayed in getting your prescription that you are directed to an area to park until your prescription is processed. Over 10 minutes at the drive thru is too long and isn’t fair to the line of cars waiting.

I go into the pharmacy to pick up medication for people and they do a really good job waiting on you and getting you what you need
