Meijer Pharmacy

Brandon S. gave us amazing service today. Kind, smiling, efficient, and went above and beyond to apply a coupon to reduce our cost (that he offered to do vs us asking). I only occasionally use Meijer for prescriptions and this seems worth reviewing since others seem to only take the time to gripe about their experiences at various extrablishments.

Worst pharmacy ever, Always out of stock, which causes you to go without meds quite a lot for a few days because they freak out if you call them in early, but yet never have them ready on the due date, Always taking forever to get anything ready when they finally do have it, just all in all terrible place avoid if possible.

Usually has excellent staff, they are helpful and informative.

This place has gone down the tubes. Have always used Meijer Pharmacy but rethinking this with the way this place is run now. Does not know how to run insurance properly, so we have to pay a copay when there should be no co pay. Apparently they don’t hire or teach employees how to work with insurance. When you try and talk to them about it they get all defensive and talk over you and won’t listen. They forgot customer service or don’t teach it anymore. Very rude and unprofessional employees. Wish I could give them zero stars.

Yesterday I experienced the same issue a lot of others have. Meijer Pharmacy does not seem to hold themselves accountable when saying "Yes, your medication will be ready for you at this time on this day". I was prescribed some medication back on 6/20 and was only able to pick up one of my 3 scripts that day. Fine, whatever. I was told that the medication would be ready on 6/21 at 2 PM. I go there after work on the day, and I'm told "Your medication will actually be ready tomorrow". I insist I was told that they would be ready, and their tune changed to "Just give me 15 minutes." I wait in my hot car, then decide to just go into the building because of the insane line, only for some pharmacist to tell me "Oh we're out of stock of one of these medications". I was only able to get one of them
