Meijer Pharmacy

The pharmacy tech Jacob seems intent on as being as unhelpful and smug as possible. My script was sent over early because I lost my meds while out of town. I show up to pick it up and he says they have nothing for me. I said I called my doctor because to confirm they sent it, he tells me “we didn’t fill it because your insurance won’t cover it since you weren’t due for a refill yet.” That isn’t their call. If a prescription is sent they should fill it. Why are they gatekeeping antidepressants? It’s not like it’s a controlled substance. I asked him to fill it anyway and I’d use a goodRx coupon and pay out of pocket. He did so reluctantly. Then came back and tells me it’s $300 something. I said… I’ve never paid that much, did you apply goodRx? He sighed and spent what felt like 5 minutes typ

The pharmacy managers are great, they hv always made sure I had my meds on time and when I had to leave town I never had to wait for my meds to be filled. My prescriptions hv always been ready with in the hour of the day to be filled. Thank you miejer pharmacist for always working with me to hv what is needed.

I moved to Mount Clemens late 2023 and started going to Meijer pharmacy just to find out a couple months ago that they never charged my insurance after I provided them the information. I wouldn’t have even known except one day my script was only $30.00 instead of the usual $60.00. So, naturally I asked what the price difference was and the lady told me they had never charged my insurance prior to this prescription… I’ve been trying to get refunded for the 1+ year mistake on Meijer’s pharmacy part to no avail. Then today I attempted to again, get a refund after I was told it was possible, but someone had to call corporate or call accounting to get approval first. Totally understandable, but not sure why Sandy could not provide a corporate phone number or her last name for me to follow up on

Darren is one of the best Pharmacists I have ever dealt with. He is amazing. This pharmacy is not perfect but I know for sure that this pharmacist will truly try to help.

I love Meijer pharmacy. Very helpful and friendly. I feel they do there best to meet your needs.
