Meera Oza, M.D., F.A.C.R.

After being told by a provider that there’s no way someone of my age (30 yo) would have arthritis (even though I had numerous positive ANAs and bloodwork indicating I had some type of auto immune) I decided I needed a second opinion. I came to Dr. Oza’s office for that second opinion and after a very extensive exam and review of bloodwork and images, Dr. Oza was able to make a diagnosis as well as start me on medication to treat my symptoms. I was very thankful to feel like I was being heard, she listened to all my symptoms and actually seemed to care. I am looking forward to feeling better (it’s only been a week on medication) and getting the proper care that I need. Everyone in the office was amazing and so kind, from the front desk down to the x ray tech.

This is a very caring and professional staff. Every person at the practice is friendly and efficient. I didn’t know what to expect at my first visit but Dr. Oza’s knowledge was immediately obvious. She answers all my questions and gives lifestyle tips that have really made a difference. I’m glad I found such a caring and professional doctor. She has already reduced my pain and helped my flexibility in my hands.

Dr Oza is the best rheumatoidologist in the Northeast Florida area and her PA’s, Mary Ann and Pinky are awesome. It has been over 10 years since I started at this wonderful office and my health has improved by leaps and bounds. No longer do I have to rely on a cane to help my mobility. At times I have had to wait to see Dr Oza but I have always understood that the times that has happened that she is with another patient. Dr Oza spends time with each patient and does not hurry when she is with them. Each patient receives her undivided attention and as much time as needed to address their concerns and problems. There have been times that I have been in there 15 minutes and times my appointment has taken over an hour. It is comforting to know that when I go to this office that I will receive

I have been with Dr. Oza’s office for a couple of years. I was referred by my PCP. I have never had an appointment begin on time. I work in medical offices so I am extremely patient but I am honestly fed up. I have never waited less than 1 hr. Typically it’s closer to 2 hrs. The Dr won’t renew my medications unless I’m seen every 3 months. It is extremely hard for me to schedule away from my own job to accommodate more than one hr. Factor in drive time of course and that’s at least two hrs away from my desk. I had my labs at the beginning of the yr and never received the results. They just renew my medications because I have complied. This I admit is hard for me to do as I have many other obligations, schedules and dr appointments to work around. Dr. Oza is very good But I rarely see her, always with a different doctor and they are not compassionate. You can't see the lab and rx results. They need to have an app that makes it easier. One time during a consultation, Dr. Oza and Dr. Pink made fun of me, that made me feel very sad and I looked for a new doctor.
