MedVet Northern Utah

This is one of the very few vets in Utah that actually care about your pets. They always promptly respond when I have aftercare questions and even text to ask how my girl is doing after being home for a couple days. I can’t recommend them enough. I just wish they had a non ER vet attached so they can be my day to day provider.

We had an amazing experience with this emergency vet. We came in a few nights ago pretty late at night and our dog was extremely sick. They immediately admitted her in critical condition and ultimately saved her life. The wait time was not as long as we expected and the price was not as high as we expected. The vets and staff were very intelligent and did a great job explaining everything to us and took amazing care of her while she was there for two days. We had received picture updates and text updates letting us know how she was doing and we really appreciated that. They were very good at communicating with us and making sure that we were okay with the plan of treatment and they also talked to our family vet so that they were aware of what was going on. The staff here is wonderful! They are above and beyond when it comes to making sure you feel like all your questions and concerns have been addressed. I had to go in at 11pm to leave my dog over night and they treated her very well. I do not have pet insurance, and this is an emergency service, so the bill was large. But they communicated everything and made sure my wallet and I were okay before moving forward. Highly recommend these guys for any pet emergencies you may have, especially at night when other places are closed.

Thank you so much for caring for Simba his last days of his 15th year. Our plan was not to hear he was suffering from congestive heart failure 😥 however I’m so glad I brought him to you when I did, your staff and Dr did what they could to help him be comfortable. The diuretic shot you gave him helped comfort him til the next day when we decided to put him down. Thanks again for your compassion and concern for our fur baby! 🥰🥹🐾

My dog got into some Christmas candy on our counter and we were extremely worried about the amount she ate. While the clinic seemed a bit understaffed, everyone was incredibly kind and caring. From the receptionist to the veterinarian, we were checked on multiple times and given updates about our dog’s care. They gave us options and were upfront about pricing before making critical decisions. After throwing up all the candy and wrappers, about $400, some anti nausea medication, and fluids - our girl was perfectly fine and we were able to go home. No long term issues and we’re very grateful she’s doing well!
