MedStar Health: Urgent Care at Bel Air

I’m not a fan of dealing with healthcare in general and usually expect long waits and frustrating inefficiencies. That wasn’t my experience here. The staff at MedStar Urgent Care was incredibly kind and courteous from start to finish. They kept me informed at every step, clearly explained what was happening, and even apologized for delays that honestly weren’t that bad. The communication and professionalism made a situation I normally dread much more manageable. I truly appreciated how respectful and attentive everyone was.

Had my first experience with this urgent care today and I couldn’t be any happier. I love the save my spot ability to make an appointment. Wait time was short, all the staff including the receptionist Ronnie and my MA Crystal, were very polite well spoken and kind. The doctor listened to my concerns and needs and made my appointment painless. The building was so clean. I would recommend this urgent care over any of the others in the county. I made an appointment online and was seen around my time. Everyone from the front desk to the patient areas were pleasant and efficient. My concerns were addressed by Sherry Pearson, NP-C. She address my issues and clearly explained everything. The 2 assistants explained the equipment I was sent home with and Sherry made sure to send in prescriptions which should resolve my problems and even some in the future. Completely satisfied.

My recent visit after suffering over 2 weeks with an upper respiratory problem had a favorable outcome! My first time visiting Medstar urgent care. Unable to find an opening with my primary for weeks I found online an appointment time at 1am that morning to be evaluated shortly after they open at 8am. My wait time was reasonable. The staff was kind and caring. The area was clean with supplies for face masks, sanitizer, bottled water. Calm and respectful atmosphere. My physician was spot on with diagnosis, listening intentionally, giving me time well spent to get me well. The visit as a whole was above expectations. Feeling so ill and exhausted with the battle I just wanted some help, but received so much more. Quality in care noted when it mattered, when I felt mattered. Thank you all!!

When you're not feeling well at work and decided that I needed to seek medical attention. The first place I thought of was Medstar Urgent Care. The staff are so concerned about your health issues and they help you to their utmost interest to help you feel better. They offer you comfort and anything else that you would need, while you're waiting to be seen. I wouldn't choose any other place to go for urgent care. Thank you!
