Excellent experience. No wait to speak of. Very clean, modern, quiet waiting room. Friendly helpful staff. Good diagnosis and discussion to customize my plan. Immediate prescriptions. I would definitely recommend. You just have to walk a few doors down from the intersection but it’s in the main building facing the street

My Mom and I had a great experience at the MedStar Urgent Care office in Ballston. We suspected that my Mom had pneumonia, which is why it was crucial for us to be in an office with an X-ray machine on site. My Mom was also tested for various respiratory conditions while we were waiting for the x-ray results, which took only 15 minutes. In the meantime, the doctor had a detailed conversation with us and performed a thorough examination. Thankfully, all the results came back negative for any issues of concern and we left duly impressed by the professionalism and dedication of the clinical and the support staff. We will definitely be back next time and highly recommend this facility to others.

I made an appointment, showed up 30 min before, was seen before appointment time, given covid, strep, and flu test. Was told it would take 35-40 min for the test. Over an hour went by, I went to ask what was going on. Doctor said she was the only doctor there and was going to do a procedure on someone so ask front desk. I talked to the front desk and she stated my results had already been posted. I waited another 10 min still…no one came in. I checked my results online and saw they were all negative. I ended up leaving without ever seeing a doctor. I get the doctor was busy being the only one but why since my results were sitting there past time couldn’t she just pop her head in quickly before her procedure and say you are negative, all good? Or why couldn’t a nurse deliver negative resul

I chose this location for urgent care because a same day appointment was available, it was not far from my location, and it had Xray capability. The only downside was being told that the pain patches and gels, available at a nearby CVS, were over the counter items. It was only later, after purchasing them at a different CVS (one that had parking) that my landline, which I could not reach, rang a number of times. Two days later, when a friend stopped by, I had her check my phone messages. That's when we discovered that the treatments were in fact prescription items and my neighbor had purchased similar but lesser strength ones. I know I am partly at fault for this as I did not put the address of the pharmacy nearest me on the form I filled out and I had provided my home phone number in

The team was great! Everyone was very kind and accomodating. The doctor was thorough and found something important. She stayed with me after 8 pm to make sure I had everything I needed. My prescriptions were sent over without a hitch, immediately.
