Tried to pick up a prescription for a patient that was post op. I went to go pick it up and was told it would be 45 minutes. I came back an hour later and after waiting in line for 20 minutes, they told me it would be another 10 minutes. There was also nearly 10 people in line and only one person working the desk. Typical MedStar—sorely understaffed with the folks there working hard but need more help
I have just recently switched my pharmacy to the 106 Irving St Medstar pharmacy simply because it’s more convenient to where I work but was a bit nervous at first. I had some issues transferring a couple of my prescriptions however Michelle stepped right in to assist with amazing customer service. She was able to give me updates as well as the steps I would need to make in order for the smooth transition. Michelle kept me updated with everything making things much easier. She also helped with being able to get my prescriptions at a lower cost which certainly helps with this economy. Thanks, Michelle! You are truly a rockstar and Medstar is lucky to have you as an employee!!
I would give 4 stars but today at 10:50am, I spoke with a Jessica. VERYYYYY RUDE, in healthcare & in pharmacy we DO NOT need people who clearly don’t know how to talk to people & or want to work with people regarding their health. BADDD CUSTOMER SERVICE, Continuous Lies, Dismissive, Started to Haze me with a question of “have you talk with someone this month regarding any prescription THIS MONTH” I answered and was soooo confused because it had nothing to do with me asking for a co-pay and an estimated time of when my prescription will be ready but she kept asking and it got NOWHERE just to a more uncomfortable energy displayed.
Rude and disrespectful when I received a call saying my medicine was ready and it still wasn’t the pharmacy and than try to get smart both the pharmacist and the person that in front was definitely rude..sad
Thought my prescription would be filled quickly since my doctor sent it electronically over an hour ago. Had to check in at the "drop off" desk even though it was in their computer. Still had to wait 50 mins even though I saw the attendant take it right off the shelf before I walked away from the drop off desk.
